People are invited to a dedicated recruitment event being hosted by Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who run the regional COVID-19 Vaccination programme, with staff and volunteers delivering the largest vaccination drive in our history.
The NHS was the first health system in the world to roll out a clinically approved, safe and effective Covid vaccine in December 2020, and since then we have been working to deliver it to those who would benefit, through more than 1,600 individual vaccination services. The programme has responsibility for the coordination of the Covid vaccination programme for the North East and North Cumbria.
Caroline Morris, Matron for the Vaccine Programme, said: “We have a number of roles for Band 5 Registered Healthcare Professionals at our Middlesbrough vaccination site and there is lots of opportunity for personal and professional development available. This programme is working at full tilt to bring the pandemic to an end as soon as we can, so if you think that you can help us to do that, then please come down to our recruitment event at The Riverside Stadium Vaccination Centre between 2-6 pm on the 24th of November to find out more. We can’t wait to meet you and see what you can offer.”
